The Crow by Sigi Kolbe
this brilliant digital artwork is by Sigi Kolbe a talented painter, photographer and yoga teacher in Namibia.
I discovered her work yesterday morning on several crow and raven related Pinterest boards with no links back to her name but fortunately she signs her work with a legible signature and I was able to find her websites. Please click the links below to see more of her work-

she has generously shared how she made this photo here
So this is a crow aaaarrrrk! for all of us to sign our artwork whenever we put it up on the net & for anyone sharing our work to find out where the images come from, ask the artist’s permission and then make the links back to the artists’ websites.
Here’s a link to a rave that explains how this relates to the Sagittarius Full Moon in Gemini by Julia Bond
We are all both the contributors and the gatekeepers of this infinite library we are creating in the cyber sea. If we each make the effort to honour each other’s work on our weblogs, Facebook walls, Flickr collections & Pinterest boards our library will grow and connect with truth and grace and who knows where this weaving of light will lead us all, this is such an exciting 21st C world and we’re making it happen!

Full Moon in June at 4:44am June 5th, 2012
It always amazes me when the little digital camera can catch the moonlight, it needs just the right amount of cloud and a steadying wall to lean on…
BTW I didn’t sign it ’cause it’s all about this wild moon!

it took me a while to figure out what i was looking at in the first image…fabulous. and a great image of the moon. i saw it through the trees at 3am this morning. just happened to wake up and look out the window.

  2. Dear crow, you are specializing and that can be quite a good thing to do. I just love the crow pose and this digital remastering,,,I don’t happen to have those programs, but can certainly appreciate really good work. Thank you for sharing these.

The focus for the next 4 years is on getting The illustrated lyrics of Old Man Crow out in the world as a book with 4 CDs (in expanding pockets with those thin leather buttons & strings to hold them closed) in the back cover. The covers will be the size of an old 12″ vinyl record jacket. I am working on the tenth song at the moment and give one Moon cycle for each song. There’s 40 songs written & getting played regularly at gigs at this point but he’s always writing more! Will need a year to work on the layout & text although all that is getting clearer as I go and want to have it all complete and in the world by 2016 while the band is still playing!

Hi again Michele have you read Jim Carroll’s posthumously published book “The Petting Zoo”? there’s a very wise raven who holds the tale together
