started this one as a buttonhole for Old Man Crow to wear to the wedding next weekend but it turned into a hat pin!
(thanks to the fabulous crow feather Marg Johnson sent up from Victoria)
as I was working on it I realized the buttonhole should be the man’s bandaged heart that is still sewn into it’s card next to the bed and he’s never worn it!

Hi Deanna, good to see you’re able to post here again, the blog powers that be are making us all jump through hoops but x fingers it will all settle back down soon! am a bit late in replying as we had to dash out for a few hours of gardening which was lovely in perfect autumn weather!
Hat pin looks great Mo! The heart will look so cool in his jacket lapel. Marg, ox
Thanks for the good words and the crow feather Marg, what a beauty! woke up realizing I hadn’t added the wishbone yet along with a few more knots to the top & it’s finished now.
Oh you are going to be a handsome couple on the day of the wedding. Love them both Mo.
am loving getting really dressed up for the first time this century!
