I love this 21st C where we can all share our art and poetry and music and wonder so freely so here’s a toast to the magic of the sharing!

  1. Mo thank you for sharing this most loving post. there is so much beauty here, and ARTISTIC vision. Art/ artist – good words I believe…hope you agree. We find our own beauty and how we share is also a way to care. best in the coming seasons of change and renewal.

  2. Valerianna says:

Such wonders we share, so true!

  3. margaret johnson says:

What a beautiful post. What a fabulous gift from Rima, and so happy to see Leunig, he is a real gem. Thankyou Mo, for always sharing. ox

    • Mo Crow says:

& thank you for visiting! Do you reckon Leunig has been declared a national treasure yet? if not he should be! his wry wisdom & dry humour has really helped me get through this funny old life!

  4. margaret johnson says:

I thought he had been declared a national treasure already, certainly in Vic anyway. So glad to know you are a Leunig fan. One of my favourites of his is
    Sit down beside me
    I said to myself,
And although it didn’t make sense,
    I held my own hand
As a small sign of trust
And together I sat on the fence.

I certainly miss his daily cartoons in the Age, which stopped years ago. Seeta Mo. ox

    • Mo Crow says:

Thanks for the share I hadn’t read that one before! Have you read his book of essays “The Lot”? it’s brilliant, same dry laconic humour as with his art & poetry & hey, you’re right! Leunig was declared a National Living Treasure in 1999. Here’s the link to his bio on his website which has lots of other good interviews and pics!
