Hi Mo,
Hope all is going well. I’m on the run (drag?) to the finish, SXS work still needs a bit of sanding, final coat of paint on the base plate and oil on the wood so back down to the H’lands in the workshop a couple of days this week, still 13 copper pods to go that i promised for the frensham art weekend – same opening day as sxs, and writing a talk (2000 words) for the same weekend today, due tomorrow for the organiser to have slides prepared etc. Then next week sxs work collected 6am monday morning, instal on the tuesday and wednesday and Frensham install on the thurs. Just wanting it to be over, I think I’ll feel better after I finish the speech today.
Just realised this is a blog post, hope the gig was great! See you soon

Go girl can’t wait to see your work in SXS, do you know if Jenny Orchard is in too?
& I thought I was busy what with the Xmas Salon at Artsite proposal needing to be submitted by next Sunday, it’s printed but have to gold leaf & put the A6 card grid together and photograph it and frame the Letter X for the multimedia experience of Xroads Hotel that Rod has been working so am just getting the lightning refined before putting Entropy away in another couple of hours, there’s only 11 hearts left to make the gross for the stole of bandaged hearts (and have a bit of an idea worked out for how to put it all together by New Year’s Eve… thinking snakes & ladders and the rigging on sailing ships…) & there’s another embroidered crow feather giveaway for the Magic Feather project underway (want to have it finished by the Summer Solstice) but your schedule makes mine look like a walk in the park!
The gig was good lots of folk showed up it was a balmy night, and a good time was had by all!
