beautiful illustrations. wow. ox
thanks for the good words Margaret, the music for this song dances like Fred Astaire so the text will need to soft shoe & shimmy across the page! Fortunately those decisions are a few years down the track when I have completed the illustrations for around about 40 songs & then can decide what font to use out of all the millions of variations available. I lean towards the spiky Gothic teenage girl style whilst Rod prefers a very plain rounded sans serif as in his Old Man Crow logo so we will have to come to some sort of middle ground along the way or invent a crow font!!
mmm I’m with you Mo, Gothic. I reckon the sans serif may be a little bland with your drawings. When the time comes though, you may have both changed your minds. May I say what a fantastic project you have chosen to work on. Rods words and your drawings, such a beautiful combination. Good wishes to you both. ox
Just stunning, Mo, I love it! Yep, choosing a font is always a tough decision, and it’s so important to get it right, it makes all the difference to the feel of a piece.
thanks for the good words Christina your integration of text and image in “Beauty Remembers” is so right & a huge inspiration
this is it! wauw!!! i love it.
thanks for sharing Mo.
with love, Marianne
