Old Man Crow and the Queen of Hearts

I made the Queen of Hearts earlier in the month but she proved a bit too fragile with her tiny rose bud sewn into the top to be tied into the stole so I turned her into a lapel pin for Old Man Crow’s stage coat & he is well pleased! The hearts encourage the music especially at the gigs, music is so different to drawing or sculpture or making a book, every time a song is played it’s a whole new thing in the world!
“They were built out of music,
And so not built at all,
And therefore built forever.”
from “The Critic as Artist: with some remarks on the importance of doing nothing” by Oscar Wilde
