Here’s “Requiem”, the latest illustration of the songs of Old Man Crow ( just click on the pics to see more of the details)

Requiem is finished for the Full Moon (have added the text just for fun)

& here’s all the bandaged hearts so far with the drawing

the red looks good with the black and white....

the Queen of Hearts needed a red lorikeet feather this morning

      Thanks for the good words Brenda! I have just started the sketches for the next song after a 6 week break to make more exhibitition books of “An illuminated Book of Cats” which has just been selected for the Capitol Works Show at Asheville BookWorks in North Carolina from September 23rd to November 28th, it’s all very exciting!

    I hope you can get there, wish I could get along too but Australia is a long way away from North Carolina! My brother Paul who is a librarian at Appalachian State University in Boone is going to be there and will video the opening so I will get to see it virtually.
