“another heart as payment in part for some imagined debt”

Bandaged Hearts 6the bandaged hearts are tying themselves together into the scarf for Old Man Crow & a couple of friends have requested a bespoke heart this week which is lovely… but difficult, as each heart is part of the journey. So the deal is… when the heart that has your name on it comes up, it’s yours… but if you take your heart it can’t be part of the scarf… and that fits in perfectly with the drawing I’m working on.

“I saw your look of triumph
as you’d gleefully accept
another heart
as payment in part
for some imagined debt”
excerpt from “Requiem” by Old Man Crow written in the mid to late 70’s, he never knew what that imagined debt was ’til now!

I want to finish this drawing by next Friday for the Full Moon so best get back to the drawing board!
